It's sounds like your friend is uncomfortable with your writing (her issue not yours), and that sent you into a spiral of thought. A little insight and reflection is never a bad thing, (I like what phrogg609 says about this), but don't let someone else's disapproval shake who you are. You obviously write whatever you write, be it satire or sex, because it interests you and says something about who you are. Perhaps you're in a time of transiition and things inside you may shift a little, but it doesn't mean you're lost by any means.

Believe me, if the real YOU ever disppeared you'd have hell to pay to all of us here who KNOW you and love you!

Now, the reason I stopped by your journal in the first place: I think I neglected to tell you guys how beautiful your xmas card picture is of all of you. You each look amazing (especially you with your beautiful sparkling eyes!!!) and I am sooo happy that we were able to all share that beautiful day in the park. I know that gingko (my favorite of all trees) dropped its gorgeous yellow leaves just for us that day!
We too have been given the very special gift of your friendship, something that we are thankful for everyday!!! We are also planning to make cards with the picture you took of us, we're just not on the ball like you guys!

Very lucky indeeed. My favorite card came from you. After Christmas, I am getting a frame for the picture.
