Hill Cumorah pageant people are staying on the campus I work at.
I spent 20 minutes today talking to a Mormon. he gave me the entire speech thing. although he didn't like it when I told him "Yes, there is a prophet on the Earth, his name is Malkezadek, he was placed here by God and will remain here until the end of days, as a teacher." (uncle read a lot of the bible, and that got them away from him). and they still continued!
tried giving me the book of Mormons TWICE!
and wanted me to pray with them! yikers!
next time, I'm either going to say I'm a pagan or satanic!

I don't have a complete script, yet. I'm posting excerpts. so that I can get feedback, plot suggestions, etc.
I pitched the idea of Bordertown to a producer who said he'd like to read it. He said he really needs to read the complete script.
I guess, the script isn't "high concept" --one whose appeal lies mainly on its premise. Example: "Bruce Almighty." A common man is granted God's powers for a week. What does he do with them? In this case, nothing particulally funny.
Anyway, that's the kind of premise-driven film idea that producers buy on the basis of a pitch. For something like "Bordertown,"producers are going to want to read a script.
