I'm with you on the winter thing, tho the cold doesn't bother me much thanks to long-distant viking bloodlines. It's the dampness, it gets into my bones & reminds me of all the breaks & injuries this body ahs suffered

last thing that made me mad? cutting myself with linoleum tools while trying to make a block cut for art class. haha, i'm an art dork. but one things remains the same, kinto is hot. *drools*

What makes me mad? My job, and the fact that an old friend who turned into a crack addict has called me 4 times tonight.

The Ryan Adams CD is "okay". It's a bit more rock than I want from him. He's definitely taken that route this time. It's got some songs in his catchy style, but I hate it when people "go rock" for the sake of it. He's young. He'll grow out of it. I didn't dig that Jesse Malin record that came out this past year.

Hey thanks for the advice on the French Music, I'll admit there isn't a lot of French Music I heard that I like aside from Serge Gainsborg, Air, Pheonix, Kid loco, Motorbass and a few others, but they aren't really rock and roll bands.

Soounds like you had a great time with the Hanoi tour, I wish I could see tham, I already got positive reviews from afew Finnish Friends.

Jobs in gereral suck and the only thing worse than having one is looking for one.

Well since I no longer have job it's quite doubtful that I'll get to see Hanoi on this tour unless they do a quick NYC/LA hop.

Though I think Mr. Monroe might be a little adverse to dealing with the promoters in my city again.

I actually don't mind some of the atmospheric pop bands like Pheonix and often wonder what out Gaullic brothers in the music scence are up to.

i'm glad i quit drinking too. it was much easier than i thought it would be. i guess if you WANT to do it, it is much easier. it's a long story.
glad to hear the shows are kickin' ass! i doubt they'll come stateside. i probably have everything i NEED off that boxset already. this guy said he was gonna burn it for me, but i think i'd really want the book, etc. have you heard LONDON COWBOYS before? i think mike and andy made an appearance on one of their records. if you don't know them, it was glen matlock (for a bit) and that black guy that played guitar with sid vicious...barry dior. something like that. they were real cool. sounded like the dolls. actually jerry nolan played on their live album "on stage". very sloppy.
haven't seen that japan thunders dvd. i have 'in cold blood" and "dead or alive" both are pretty depressing. you can't help but feel like you've been ripped off after watching them. there is a japanese HELLACOPTERS dvd out there that i hope gets released here. there is also a 'copters documentary dvd coming out in november. that should be cool. they have some cool vids. speaking of thunders (again), they just put out the L.A.M.F original mixes on a double cd with a whole bunch of demos, instrumental versions, etc. it's really cool. they managed to make those original mixes sound great. quite a challenge. it really makes "revisited" look like a piece of crap. i didn't know that thunders re-recorded the vox on some of the tracks on that. oh well.
