Thanks.
Your pics - still Rome?
I took those at two gigs at Leicester DeMontfort hall, 3 months apart. I remembered them as being in 80 & 81 but recently read that the band split it 1980 so pehaps they were late 70's.
Well Snowy White was the 2nd guitarist at the time so that is the key factor to nailing the exactt date.
I don't know why they did the second gig as they hadn't cancelled any of their shows, & it was a last-minute job. It was only announced a few weeks befrehand
I love Thin Lizzy too. They are still going, with Scott Gorham and Phil Campbell but it's not the same without the main man - though I wouldn't mind seeing them from curiosity. If they do any shows in France your mate should check out Limehouse lizzy I know tribute bands get a bad press but these guys are pretty cool

Skinny Puppy's show last night at the Astoria was so awesome
I didn't think at first they could impress me that much, since it was the 3rd time I would see them... but holy mother of fuck, when a show starts with "Tormentor" and proceeds to align gems such as "Rodent", "Hexonxonx", "Spasmolytic" & so many others that would be too long to list here,...

My life is about to change drastically in the next 3 to 4 months.
If you've never done anything like this, you would think that getting prepared to leave almost everything you own behind and also leaving lots of friends behind is the hardest bit - and you would be quite far from the truth actually. Or maybe it's just because I've done it once...

Moment by moment we create and recreate ourselves through what we think, say, and do. Over time, we develop distinctive habits: a recognizable self that makes us more likely to perpetuate those habits rather than adopt others. We get stuck in a rut.
This is how most of us experience our lives most of the time: trapped in patterns of thought and behaviour that we...

very true. it was nice to see satan as such. i still like gabriel a lot, but more because it was the perfect role for that person who played it well, rather than breaking free of those concepts of who's perfect for what role and should the wear black/red if they're a baddie...
The way people in London and from all over the world responded to those terrorists attacks is amazing and deeply re-assuring.
Hatred, fear & ignorance are just no match against spontaneous human kindness & love.

Very well put. I was really impressed by London last night, there was a great feeling of loving defiance about those who were out, remarkable and wonderful.
NIN: a bunch of professionals doing the day job. It's a depressing thought indeed. We left before the encore.
Am tired, lacking much needed sleep. The weather is awfully dull & grey. July in the UK once again: 18 degrees C/65 degrees F - how pathetic is that... this is just not right.
If you were not in my life I wonder where my sanity...
