That's a lot to take, sorry to hear about your aunt. My aunt was diagnosed with lung cancer some months ago. She recently had an operation to have it removed. All went well and right now, they "think" they got it all. Sometimes, you just hate a particular word, at the moment think is near the top of my list. Too bad about that creep in the parking lot however, I shouldn't talk, if it were me, I'd have you trapped for a good day expounding on the limitless boundaries of your pixie-nessness. If that time ever comes, I was once hypnotized by a gypsy at a back water carnival so, just say the word "ventoli" and apparrently I start barking like dog until some one rings a bell, that'll give you plenty of time to make your get away.

I blow on the lil' part that has the chip on it, that usually works for me. Or take a paper towel to the bottom of the ink holes, that someone works too. I guess it makes the cartiage realize that someone wants the ink to come out, so then the printer recognizes the ink's in there.

Figure out what drivers it uses, and then uninstall and re-install them. You will probably need to download them from the interweb, but it solves many printer issues.
