Happy V day everyone in SG land! At work today naturally, but tomorrow is the fireman's ball! Always a good time!

-15 degrees F in Chicago today. Out serving and protecting though! Rough start to the day, got into an accident. Nobody hurt, but my truck is pretty ugly now. Black ice is a bitch!

I haven't been on here as much either, I'm hoping they'll change the site back due to popular demand! I guess I keep hoping too that it'll grow on me... I went to the burlesque show with my hubby & we both thought it was fantastic! I liked the one in 2006 a lot, so I figured it would be another great show :) I kept an eye out, but also didn't see anyone I know. It was crowded, I guess... I met Shipwreck once before too, & she's so sweet & gorgeous, but I also didn't see her at the show. I had bad luck lol

Well...I'm single again. After 2 years we've called it off. No infidelity or bad drama, we just weren't working anymore. She's an amazing person and I wish her happiness and success. I will miss her lots. On the plus side, maybe I'll spend a little more time here.

Thanks everyone for the warm birthday wishes yesterday! It was a great day. Taught motorcycle class without getting rained on (much) and ended the day at the Rolling Stones show. Those old guys still bring it! At the firehouse today for my last day of work before vacation!

Went to see "The Book of Mormon" last night. I figured I would like it, because its from the creators of South Park, but I had no idea how hilarious it would be! If it comes to your town I highly recommend it!
