Yeah, Haddon Ave has gone to town....especially in Collingswood. Hell, I'd even LIVE there if I werent in Philly already. My family used to live in a house next to the Colls Speedline station, so I escaped quite frequently to see gigs, hang out, blah blah blah. I used to bring some of the HF new wave girls with me at times...they might be after your time, though, since they were a year or two younger than I.
The one thing I miss about Haddon Ave was Final Vinyl Records. That was one of the best stores to get used music. Just an incredible store. The owner moved it to the 'Field in that walk platz area thinking he would get more foot traffic. It closed after a few years, I believe...very disspointing. Argh...
Sooooo...you never went to that guy Nick's parties over in Collingswood, did ya? He was one of the few punk/wave guys that lived in the area that I can remember back in the day....wow, memories.
