it's weird and awesome all at the same time... not 10 minutes after i find out that the guy i was supposed to see tonight probably won't be able to make it, another guy wanders up to me and asks for my number.

i don't dislike the holidays. generally speaking, thanksgiving means little to nothing to me, but when i think of christmas, especially now, i'm reminded of the fact that, in my whole life, i've only ever been dating someone TWICE when the holidays have come around. ...and now i'm compelled to sing:

i've never really minded it - a girl does enjoy having options - but lately it's been getting me down. i down on the idea that these guys either aren't worth a second date or aren't interested after the first.
