No, that isn't a reference to Ron Jeremy. My brother just bought a hedgehog for his girlfriend as a surprise/moving in present. Cool little bastard. She spiked the hell out of my forearms when I held her though, and now they look kind of rashy and they itch like a bitch. I hope I'm not allergic to the little thing.
