I got it from both ends- I was raised Southern Baptist and went to Catholic School (St. Pius X on 71st St) for 4 years (grade 4-8). One of the younger priests there, Father Jeff, would let me hang out and ask him questions about religion when i was in 8th grade. It was a very enlightening experience- two totally different Christianities. I'm glad I was exposed to both. It has given me a wider appreciation for both traditional ritualistic faith (Catholic) and the charismatic emotional faith (Baptist). Of course, ironically enough, I don't really consider myself a Christian these days in that I don't believe that Christ is essential to get to heaven. I'm an agnostic now.

i was brought up catholic as you know, but i definitely don't practice as much as i should! and i need to! i have lots of things to be thankful for. but i can totally relate with ya, religion is a touchy subject with alot of people it seems! i went to a catholic school too, we had religion class and even went to mass every friday! i should definitely be more into my faith that what i practice.

good the dave & i got married
the dave & i got married i'm losing so much weight! it was kind of an unintended side effect of picking up so much stuff..but i'm eating pretty well, and i'm not really being fussy about what i eat...just cut back on processed sugars (which i needed to do anyway). I've been working out about 4 hours a day though on top of classes and whatnot.
