Yeah, I've been feeling a bit under the weather of late too. A combination of angst and lack of sleep, I'd bet.

Sorry you've not been feeling well. I suck at cheering people up, but hey, give yourself a hug for me, or imagine punching me in the stomach, whichever works better towards putting a smile on your face.

Springtime in NYC is a crapshoot when it comes to weather. I'd aim for April if you want to have the best chance of avoiding cold and snow/sleet/rain, but then again it could be in the 80's by March.

I'd say pack a range of clothes and you'll be fine. Worse comes to worse my wife and I can loan you a sweater or something, or show off the overambitious indoor heating in our new apartment (living in a 5th floor apartment is a great way to show how heat rises).

So yeah, let me know (I'd suggest via email) when your travel plans are more concrete so I can warn the wife and whatnot.

And yes ... I know what you mean about the CD reviews ... I wasn't expecting a response like that .... and personally - I have about 14 CD's I'm supposed to have reviewed and have been too lazy to do it.

I think living in New Orleans for so long, the weather here teases you. You prepare for the cold weather and right when it gets a little cold, it quickly goes back to the warm weather. Then, like today, it suddenly goes back to being ridiculously cold. Then you're not prepared. It sucks. I'm in a damn coffee shop freezing my ass off because some jackass has the A/C on.

Its at times when you don't have any energy to do things that you tend to let your mind wander. Sometimes the results are good. Sometimes bad. I know it happens a lot to me. Especially at night if I'm home. The smallest things piss me off and I end up going to bed in a rage. These things will eventually pass. Don't worry.

Come to the show tomorrow. We'll have fun.
