Pause to correct myself... I should have been more specific.
I was referring to the hip bruise, because of the way the ropes wrap up around the illiac crest toward the carabiner. I can see how in certain suspended poses, this could apply focused pressure. But a totally minimal bruise... probably be gone in a week.
As far as the shoulder bruises tho... totally clueless from the pix and vid. Were there other rope configurations?

Ack! Just started surfacing again in the world after the move and going back up the post tree - so sorry you've been sick, and really impressed that you made it out there and were still able to scene! The bruises look most pretty - I usually worry about smacking hips but it looks really good on you
had a mostly nice weekend. went for a walk with Sir and also did a shoot in a pool with rope. next time we will get better images, and i wont be making stupid faces.
oh.. he also got a point and shoot similar to one of mine, and it has a super macro function.. he got a little picture happy with that..
yeah, they are awesome!! I did send them out to be converted so they can TTL meter with my D300s... but for a total investment of less than $200 they are still a steal!!

I do want to catch up with you. I think after wasting Saturday (like usual), I had a little freakout today (Sunday). I got a lot done cleaning, and it so badly needed.
On a lighter note, Augie knocked over a small picture frame, which shattered on the floor. It's actually the first thing she's ever broken (Lumi was a holy terror that way). So, I broke the stereo. I will not be outdone by the fuzzbutt!!! (Actually, it broke on it's own; it's incredibly old--has cassette tape decks, heh. But don't let Augie find out; I have a rep to uphold. )
I may not be able to send a reply until later in the day tomorrow; still need to finish updating my resume for a job lead I'm checking on midday tomorrow. Wish me luck.
tomorrow marks the 3 year anniversary of my dads death.
i think i may need to get away from family. even though its just my sister here.. i dunno.. kinda depends on what shes doing but i really dont want to be around people who might bring it up.
I'm not really doing better, just felt bad for putting up such a depressing blog before, wanted to replace it. Just trying to put on a brave face, and hopefully talk myself into feeling better (not working too well). Oh, something new today; car is making horrible grinding sounds, just in time for job hunting.
Re: blog, I understand not wanting the reminder of your dad. Perhaps turn off your phone tomorrow (or don't answer calls from family), and visit a friend. Unless you really want to be, being alone isn't the best idea on those anniversaries. A good point was made about your sister wanting company, but she does have other family to call to talk to if she wants to. And they'll understand how you feel.
So, I couldn't read all of your announcement about what you're confused about SG. I keep seeing people posting about being discontented or upset but nobody states why. What's going on?
