Though I am kind of irritated that instead of having me cut firewood this year, my grandma has decided to buy it...

I went out and bought a chain saw specifically for cutting firewood for her...

A much needed mini-vacation, especially after this week.
Micro test...frustrations with lab...and the laptop almost being broken. (My laptop keeps me alive at work...without it I lose my mind. I rely on it way too much.)

I got the laptop to boot up without the battery and ran Windows fix. It's working fine now. I think the fact that it never goes into sleep mode correctly when I close it led to a Windows error (battery died with computer on).
From now on, I shut it down when I am not using it for extended periods.

so I am on Christine's old laptop for now.

Try going from 4gb of ram...to 1gb....
Ugh...

I am going to try a few solutions...but if that doesn't work, I'll just mail it to Toshiba and have them fix it.
