You cannot let a couple of setbacks completely dash your spirits. When there are setbacks, push back. Look for other grants, stipends, assistanceships, fellowships, etc. Call the school about the NetID thing. Computers can be stupid sometimes, and maybe they did something wrong on their end. If you want something badly enough, you can't give up!!!!!

I didn't realize how out of shape I really am...
I went to the gym today, and I got about 10-15 minutes in before my body was like "no more..."
I know...it's a start, and I shouldn't compare myself to others...but God damn...
Going again tomorrow...so...I'll eventually get back to half-hour cardio sessions etc.
Works for me.

Edit: I've often thought about the correlation between beauty and intelligence. I've come to the conclusion that the uglier I look the smarter I feel. I can think more clearly on the days I feel unattractive. I think it's much more fulfilling...richer...then again, I'm crazy.
