Have no idea how you can get away with them not spazzing out. I told my parents that I didn't go to church and they spazzed out, which I thought was nuts since they are fair weather church goers. When one of my sisters let it slip that I dabbled in Buddhism, my mom got worried that I was consorting with terrorists. There is not much you can do about the ignorance of others. Good luck!
