Holy shit, you have no idea about rain. One of the reasons I was so delayed getting back online was my area was just declaired a federal disaster area because of floods from Ivan.

I don't know what I would do without a car... Taking the train to work means I have to leave my house by 5-6am and I don't get to work till almost 9....soooo annoying. I hope you can get out to find a car soon...but getting all toned is such a plus for not having a car.

i used to use the runes to write in my diary so that nobody could read it if they did find it. i didn't know anyone at the time that would have to patience to decipher any notes i'd write to them using it. are we geek-tastic, or what?

Yeah, I'd rather be naked on a mountain top in California than just about anywhere--especially the library faculty meeting I have to go to this morning!
I hope 27 is better than 26 for you. Turning 30 was harder than I expected, but it finally sank in that I have at LEAST 30 more years that I can use to make my life what I want. Yeah, I have regrets about shit I did in my early 20s, but the last 6-8 years have been super.
It's tough to beat back the depression, but it CAN be done.

Just got home from the Philadelphia Folk Festival. Gaa... my throat is aaallllll torn up.
What a weekend, though- pretty fucking awesome. So many adventures, so many people, so many stories. Goob loves the Folk Fest more than just about anything. So I take it you touched the ass??? and were there for the mass mooning? My campsite is called the the Moonlighters so we had like stoned little kids asking us all nite to moon them we are like wrong campsite down the hill.
I missed all the day concerts :/ I couldn't take the heat like I use to...(Plus I got there Saturday around 7ish so I had alot of catching up to do with people)
Wasn't it weird this year like the concert grounds when I first walked up to it I was like damn what happened.

And wow to your good timing of leaving. I got up around 10ish and didn't leave till around noon.
