Sitting here on the coast with a house full of eq's, compressors, limiters and I am imaging away these little buggers. Probably not the most exciting stuff for the general audience, but cool for us sound geeks.

I decided on the coast vs portland since I wont be here as long as I thought......I am heading over to the uk to image some stuff there,...

So what are the general opinions of neighborhoods in Portland Or here? I am most familiar with NE but what about others? Thanks for any input.......

I live in SE and I like it....I also like NE as well. I like the east side of the river. The west side is more expensive and more crowded. I like SE cause it is laid back and hippy-ish. It would be kind of fun to live downtown for a while but I am sure that would get old pretty fast. The Hawthorne district is nice...I would like to live there.

my husband used to live by reed college on woodstock. I am not sure if that is NE or Se, but I liked it a lot...good food/shopping/nature smile

My housesitter's dad passed away so I am kind of stuck here amognst the twigs and critters for right now. I'd lock and leave it but I have way too much equipment in the house not to have someone I trust there watching it. Even if I have an alarm system...Paranoid me.

But I will be flying in between NY and Portland for a few...

Back from Austin got to hang out with some old friends sunday night at antones and say goodbye.....I was the official rep for JD and crew who are in the UK but it was a night I will never forget.......there was not enough room in a place as big as texas for all of the love that was shown for Clifford Antone. I dont get...

such a big loss for the Austin music scene.

Looks like I am headed to Austin,,,,,,I found out that Clifford Antone passed away. He was a giant and a great friend to many musicians who passed through Austin, Including myself. He was one of a dying breed. He really gave a shit about folks, letting them play longer or paying them more, he helped out alot of the aging blues stars in austin with...

It's kind of sad that there are so few "good" people around anymore.

I second Faye's comment.

I saw "The Notorious Betty Page" last night, good flick, my semi date was a big fan, we met in an astoria coffee shop, she commented on my all sweatshirt saying she went to school in fort collins and they are well known there. I said I was looking to mve up that way and she said she was going back to get her masters...

I am enjoying the aspect of being completely alone right now, I spent the better part of today Surf Fishing in Astoria, OR. And I learned the finer aspects of fishing vs catching....

I am enjoying the hell out of this healing time, got the stitches out and I look semi normal now.

I have made it through the entire Guitar Wolf and Zeke Discographies...

you healing too? I'm all stitched up and all by my lonesome to get well, too. It's kinda nice actually, but hurts sometimes when the meds wear off frown

Well the stitches are out..nice to be able to move my face again.

Had a nice drive up to Oregon, where I am now. Getting ready to head to the coast for some well deserved rest. And then head down to San Fran, San Diego, over to Flagstaff and back to Colorado.

Nothing like a good high speed drive to clear the noodle, maybe by...
