My 4th of July wasn't too bad once I got done working.

I'm used to tons of tourists being where I work, but yesterday was just insane... you could barely stand on your own two feet without standing on three other peoples.

but no seriously though. july 4th rocks in illinois. some awesome firework shows go on!

plus it's kind of cool that chicago does it on the 3rd so you can catch 2 firework shows if you're really insane enough to travel to the city in that kind of trafficsmile

i go to waukegan harbour, steves bro owns a firework company and they do their HUGE show there every year. it was awesome again this year smile

So yeah, I have most of this week off from work.

My big plans involve reading the Harry Potter books that I never got a chance to read, taking long naps, playing some video games, and consuming large amounts of snack foods and alcohol.
