yeah the first shot he took in game 5, during his follow thru, he hit it on something and broke it. so he got a rebound, missed two free throws and had the ball stolen all with a broken hand. and i guess he kept telling Larry Brown that he wanted to come out cuz it was broken and Larry told him just stay in, lol. but i didnt know any of this til yesterday. cuz he wasnt at the parade or either of the rallies. and only at the Palace pep rally did i finally hear, from Chauncey, that one of "the soldiers" was missing and that Darko couldnt be there, but he didnt say why. when i got home i found out. but that really sucks cuz i was hoping that he could play for Yugoslavia in the Olympics and actually get some PT. but thats not til august, so maybe it will be healed by then.

thanks dude, i appreciate it. if there's one thing i don't like about the politics of this site, it's that people get far too wrapped up in liberal versus conservative when it should be a time for solidarity. we need to know who our enemies are, and it's not people who hold different opinions than ourselves-- it's "people" who butcher others for the sake of terror.

my biggest problem with the whole situation is that the NBA has no minor league. the NBDL does not count, thats a joke. they really need to do something about that.

but i did not want carmelo, at all. every time joe dumars is interviewed he says the reason they didnt want carmelo is tayshaun prince. they play the same position, but tayshaun is definately a better defender. they might not be in the finals if tayshaun didnt block reggie miller. carmelo wouldnt have done that. he probably wouldnt have even been the game. everyone seems to think detroit would be so much better right now if they had carmelo, i dont buy it. who's to say he would even play? how do we know he wouldnt be on the end of the bench like darko is now? larry brown isnt really a fan of younger players. maybe he would see more time than darko but i dont believe that he would be starting. i have no problem with darko. early in the year i was mad that he wasnt playing, but i understood why, he wasnt ready. and they were very lucky to get him, it wasnt their pick. they werent the typical 2nd pick crappy team, they have time to wait for darko to develop, and he has developed alot already. he basically lives in the weight room, and ben wallace kicks his ass in practice everyday, that will help down the road. now i dont want to look too far ahead, but i wonder what will happen this off season. does rasheed re-sign and what happens to mehmet okur? i think rasheed will be back, but i kind of hope memo isnt. i like him, but he hasnt looked too good lately, and next year, darko really needs to be ahead of him in the rotation. maybe elden campbell will retire and that will open up a spot, but who knows. i really think the pistons will be a better team next year too. even if darko doesnt play much. it will be a whole season with rasheed (hopefully) and they get carlos delfino, so they will have another scorer and a true back up shooting guard. right now they take out Rip and its 2 point guards in there (either chauncey, hunter or mike james). now thats not so bad cuz chauncey can be a 2 guard, kinda like iverson, which is why larry brown likes him so much i think. he's like AI without the attitude.

Hey,Mike sorry for delay in response.I had to go to a web page design conference in Baltimore and took an extra day to
go to DC and pay homeage to the Gipper.Quite an emotional monent..I'll tell all the SG Conservatives about it.
Anyhow, I liked BR's "The Process of Beliefs" but in my opinion the songs toward the end got a bit boring.It's almost like they were just "filler" songs..listen to "Combat Rock" by the Clash and it's the same thing..first 3-5 songs rock then album gets lame.BR's new album is their most consistent since "Suffer" and "No Control"..like I said has my vote for album of the year and even as I write this it's playing.

he's a workshy prettyboy layabout who does nothing on the pitch except score the very very odd long-ranger. liverpool's old midfield with him in was the worst i've seen in my lifetime. he's a bit like jason mcateer but without the effort.

ok, i know the name, dont get to see many games on tv though. and the EPL games they do show are all tape delayed, and i just cant watch when i know who wins and what minute the goals are coming in. my favorite player would have to be Shevchenko, or Michael Owen.
