God knows why they felt they couldn't do this and instead decided to do this immature talking behind your back bullshit. Now that you know what they have been feeling/saying, perhaps the best thing for you to do is be the better person and talk to them about what has been going on? Be the wonderful, amazing, mature person that I know you are and hopefully you all will be able to work out whatever it is that is going on.
