Do you still have small sized gauges? If so just put the next size small in and they should close up themselves and just keep doing that. Mine are about a six and when i leave out my jewelery they size down pretty damn quick to about a 10 if I'm not careful. Sometimes in less then a week.

Also there is color that you can have done over dark hair. I think you can get it at Sally's. Does less damage since you don't have to bleach first.

those bugs freaked me out too. when they would fly near me i would scream and jump out of the way. lol but they were pretty and neat to look at from a distance.

Earplugs and an eye mask. We have a rather small room here with a window air conditioner and two fans going constantly plus the hubby tends to be a night owl most of the time and he writes all night on the computer. Believe it or not the typing noise will wake me up.

I've never been a good sleeper and if I wake up when he's still up even though he tries to be as quiet as possible and keeps the light dimmed it will still take me up to an hour to fall back to sleep. So the plugs and mask help immensely.

I used to have an awesome vintage fan that was all metal that I couldn't sleep without it running. I miss that fan.


But mostly I need a dark room and quiet. Both of which I rarely get here.

The beanie style caps she makes for cancer patients she makes in just a few hours and she uses mainly the small balls of misc. yarn she has leftover from other projects. She puts a scalloped edge on the ladies hats and leaves the mens more plain and just varies the needle sizes to make larger and smaller caps. Usually they are done in two colors so there can be a strip or two.She gives them to cancer clinics and retirement homes. They love them.

I'm trying to convince Grannie to make me a kitty hat. There's a really cute one in this month's crochet world. It's sized for kids but she says she can make it bigger. Of course I don't think she knows I was serious about wanting one.

Viking life isn't just for athletics here, it's in the halls, in the clubs, in community involvemnt. Tis crazy and wonderful how much these people love our school and community.
