Powerpoint isn't hard, it's the delivery part, and if you can do that, you're sorted in many, many ways in life. 50% of stuff is about presentation. So bloody well done!
The PPT equivilant in Open Office isn't too bad, I've used it a few times to create work stuff at home and gotten away with it. Just makes sure you save it for PPT if you use it.
