Time for another update.

It is unseasonably warm in Philly today.

I am going to Aspen next week. I still don't know who's taking care of my dog.

Yeah I'm applying for fall admission. But if I don't get in thats what I can do. My dad was just freaking out cause I woudln't have health insurance so he pressured me to go right away.

Thanks though I'll keep it in mind smile

I don't have access to any cute puppies!

And yes, I saw that episode of Buffy...I really can't stand the show, but my mom was obsessed with it for awhile, which is odd to me because she's in her 50's...

And yes, it has been very warm in Philly lately, but people are still acting like dickheads for the most part.

I went to South Street the other night and went to Johnny Rockets for food, and it was two of my friends' birthdays and when the waitress came out and asked everyone to sing happy birthday, all the other people there just glared at us like they hated us. One girl even rolled her eyes. It made me want to gouge them out with a fork.

Whoa! Would you like to see something simultaneously gratifying and disturbing? First, the good news:

Gallup Poll. Nov. 7-10, 2005. N=1,011 adults nationwide. MoE 3.
"Do you favor or oppose Congress passing legislation that would raise the minimum wage?"

Favor 83%
Oppose 14%
Unsure 3%

Now the disturbing part:
"Just your best guess: What is the current minimum wage rate per hour worked?"
Mean response...

You know what's a good time?

Take a banana, slice it in half, put on a thin layer of crystalized sugar, and cook it with a blowtorch.

Mmm good!

This is Gothic Lolita.
I have a lot of the clothes, but I usually wear jeans and things to school. Now, because I enjoy it, I've decided to become a Lolita full-time.

curiosity:
It kind of is a sort of subculture. Rococo France filtered through Japan, with such heroes and heroines as the author Takemoto Novala, Alice in Wonderland and Mana from the band Moi Dix Mois, who created the style for the genre. If you can get your hands on the movie "Shimotsuma Monogatari" (based on a novel by Novala, marketed as "Kamikaze Girls" in the US, although I fucking hate acknowledging that), you should watch it.

My previous entry was boring, though there's every chance this one will be as well. I'd like to give updates on my life, but I'm simultaneously very shy about putting too much personal info out there. Odd, don't you think, given that there are people (and especially on this site, women) who reveal much more than I would ever dream of?

Having said that:

So I've been wrangled into having a New Year's dinner party this year.

What to make, what to make?

Seafood curry has been demanded, as well as something which requires a blowtorch, but beyond that, I need to give it some thought.

Nah. I've never taken a class. I just started about 2 years ago. But I suppose I'm sort of an artist now as I've sold about 20 pieces.

I'm not a bad person.

I swear, I'm not a bad person.

I did what needed to be done.

But I've hurt a very sweet girl.

as stupid as it might sound, it's probably far more humane that you did it now rather than waiting a few more months. you're a good guy...

Not like anybody's checking up, but I thought I could do with a quick update.

1) Things are so up in the air on the gf front. Sigh... I just don't know. No more details in this context, I'm afraid.

2) I've had crepes for 4 of my last 6 meals. I think I should stop.

3) I've been watching too much Buffy lately.

That...

Damn you, city of Philadelphia!!

Normally, I wouldn't say that, as I loves me some Philly, but today they decided to give me a $25 fine for putting my garbage out a couple of days early (all non-bio type stuff, so no fear of rotting). I mean, seriously, do they have nothing better to do?

Now I will calm down with some delicious General Tso's...
