So last night was mostly ass. I drank too much before going out and as a result I sobered up by 9:30 and couldn't get drunk again. I butchered the songs I did at karaoke. In my defence I told the people who picked them that I would suck and I did. Only worse than I really wanted to.
it was a crapfest but at least Toronto got some NDP MPs. We probably won't be in any real trouble unless Mr. Bush decides to attack another oil-rich nation on flimsy pretenses.

I understand, unfortunately, that the turnout for this election was not much bigger than for the last one.
It was indeed 61% last time; the 75% I also mentioned in my entry was the approximate turnout when I worked as a deputy returning officer in my riding. I haven't heard too much about the youth vote stats, though.
