Spending the day painting in our new house. Lots to do.

New Day Rising...

Looooooong day yesterday. Off to get some sleep and then back to the hospital. Father-In-Law was in surgery for 6 hours. Sent to ICU and continued to bleed out. Family was allowed to see him. Doc ordered him back to the OR. He had three spots where he was bleeding. They stopped the bleeding. Four hours of surgery the second time. Back to ICU.

My father-in-law was flown to Hershey Medical Center today. He experienced chest pains while mowing grass. He will have open heart bypass surgery today. The surgery will last five hours.

Say a prayer to the powers that be. Keep him in your thoughts. He is a good man.

It's official, allergies are kicking my ass. I couldn't sleep. Got up and took some allergy pills. Now I can breathe easier.

Rain here for the next four days. Overcast and dreary.

Off to work on our new house soon. Painting and redoing cupboards. I need to redo the bathroom. Cleaning out the attic today. The past owner left a lot of junk up there. We should be moved in by the first week of May. No more city. Back to the country. Looking forward to it.

I have been reading "AC/DC Maximum Rock & Roll". I am half way through it. It is an excellent accounting of their rise to the top.

So, yes I am on an AC/DC kick lately.

I am almost to the point where we lose Bon Scott. AC/DC opened for UFO at the Capital Centre(Largo,MD), the summer of 79. It was right before "Highway To Hell"...
