so i've got some leads on jobs. applied for a place in Denver yesterday. Small boutique place near the culinary school i went to. Tues-Sat dinners only. Owned by a couple who are chefs. I think it would be a great place to cook, but don't know about pay/benefits if it would make it worth the move.

denver was a much needed trip. getting out of vail just for that night, being around close friends, drinking around the fire pit was great.

yoga=no joke. i am sore today, but very happy i went and will continue to go whenever my work schedule allows.

back to work, closing shifts all weekend.

the Blackhawks had a great first playoff run in over a decade and then went down fighting. Huet had over 40 saves in a 2-1 overtime loss to the dreaded Red Wings. i guess if you're going to get eliminated by your long standing rival, a super low scoring hard fought game is the way to do it.
