I'm in the process of buying a mac so I can play with garageband because clearly, a crappy laptop mic isn't working for me. And..i'm a n00b so I'm hoping that will help me. Any other suggestions for a beginner? Hopefully you like the music I put out

Hi again,
I would so much encourage you to get that MAC, and add these two little dudes as well - will get you a LONG way in making pro recordings. Also - if you play a bit piano - get a USB keyboard controller, and thats basically all you need to make *anything* in garage band...
