Today starts my vacation, but I have to mow the lawn, go shopping, and play video games before the end of the day. Tomorrow is packing and cleaning the house and bowling. Then Tuesday through Friday we will be in Mackinaw! With a stay at a $300 a night bed & breakfast on Mackinac Island on Wednesday. It's gonna be fun and relaxing!
Then Friday...

I was, honestly, a little hesitant about getting the sk3. But since I've had it for about 3 weeks now, I don't know what it was like BEFORE it came into my life. They rollerball is much better for maneuvering the "cursor," the mp3 player holds about 11 songs-- which for me, is perfect for my walks to and from the bus stop. Better camera with different settings. Its not as heavy, even with the battery (the sk2 didn't have one), and is a little skinnier than the old one. Its definately something that I would give 4.75 stars out of 5. the missing .25 goes to the unfortunate fact that some of the old ringtones aren't available (I'm not one to regularly download songs for ringtones... but there were certain bleeps and bonks that got my attention, and some aren't available, some sound completely different).
You know how I used to be. Getting drunk and sleeping underneath people's dining room tables when I passed out, breaking bottles and yelling all the time. I was so unhappy inside and trying to make up for it by creating an OUTWARD version of myself. Sometimes, it really makes me want to cry when I think about all that. Especially when I truely feel so different now.
I've said it before... but not broadcasted it. If Steve and I make it through the duration of this house arrest bullshit, I think I'm going to ask him to marry me. It might be projecting a little and looking too far into the future, but its always an idea. He's definately something wonderful.
And... thanks for voting for them.

I don't like it any more than you do. I miss everyone too. But I think people are being 'assholes' because you lash out for no reason. There were the times in SGChicago when you'd insult everyone for not driving to Michigan for an event (and then wonder why they never wanted to come), and then there was the whole fit over the CD exchange in K-Zoo (or GR... can't recall where it was).
I think, to some, it looks like you take it personally when people can't come to an event instead of just thinking, "Oh bummer... so and so's busy." Hell, two people showed up for my birthday, and I still had a great time. I didn't know about the CP ticket quota. I honestly thought you were upset that only 15 people were going instead of 20-40, so it seemed weird to me. I'd be thrilled with 15 people, so I couldn't figure out where the anger/sadness was coming from. That's all.
This happens with families all the time too. I have a huge family, and every time there's a wedding or something, people get together and say, "Man.. I can't believe it's been two years. We need to see each other at something besides a wedding or funeral." Sometimes it happens; sometimes it doesn't. Three years ago, SG was still new and exciting and we had all sorts of active people, but that's sort of died away. People fell into their own cliques. It happens.
I think, with CP, it really is just a matter of timing and finances. A lot of people are unemployed or newly-employed, and others simply can't afford the gas and day at the park. It's also right in the middle of a huge month for vacations and family things. Also, some people have new partners, and sometimes people get very into a new relationship and don't really go out as much because they have this new life they're adjusting to. We also have a lot of people who've left the site or aren't as active who would normally be at CP. People have kids now. Etc.
I, myself, never go because I'm too big for some of the best rides, and I don't want to go again until I can ride everything. I know I could go and hang out with everyone and ride some stuff, but I'd feel pretty bummed not riding some of the best and newer coasters.
I'm sorry if I came off as harsh. That wasn't my intention. I just couldn't figure out why you were so upset.

Damn, Swamp Thing is ending, Y the Last Man is ending, and Lucifer just ended. Why are all these Vertigo titles dying at the same time?

I think "we" try because "we" are quite accomplished at bitching. Knock it off.
GREAT WEEKEND!!!!
Saturday I saw my favoritist band ever, Ministry! They played a great set, 6 new songs, 2 from their previous album, 3 from Psalm 69, and 3 oldies but goodies (Stigmata, Thieves, and So What). But what was even more exciting was seeing Revolting Cocks! Wow! They played some more obscure older stuff that really made my night! Fucking awesome!!!!
Then after the...

Thank you for your comment on my set! I am very glad you enjoyed it!
Hope this dose of radioactive fairydust from the toxic land of the undead was enough to keep you satisfied until the next mutation.

Sorry dear; but Micah budget, Micah Vacation time, and Micah car maintenance prevents Micah from making a CP appearance
I guess I should get off my ass and update. I was waiting for something, but it looks like it'll never be posted...oh well...
Anyway, I had a great time at the Film Fest last weekend, but didn't get to go on Sunday because Missy had to work.

It's the Waterfront Film Festival this weekend!!! I'll (hopefully) be there on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday, I will be seeing In Memorium, a tale of psychological horror in which a man sets up camaera around his house to record his last dying days, but the cameras start to pick up something else....
And if Missy can get the time off work (since her...

So, because of the stupid rain, the Mustard Plug show was cancelled. Boo!
So instead I spent all night watching public access television. Boy, I love that shit. Where else can someone pay $50 for a class, check out a camera and record whatever retarded pointless TV show they want to?
Ramble on about crappy Anime for an hour? Sure!
Get your boys together and...
