i can't begin to tell you how timely this journal entry is to me. i have been having chest pain since sunday. i've allowed my life's stress and strain to physically take a toll on me. no more, i say! NO MORE! i have to let go now.

i got a fortune cookie the other day that said, "Your Courage will Guide Your Future". it is my mantra right now. i was telling echobunny this too.

I'm not very good at interacting with people. The agoraphobia and SAD probably don't help my social ineptitude either. It's easier on the internet because people aren't staring at me.

Sugarcubes - I spent New Year's 99/00 in my room watching a 50s horror movie marathon (The Astounding She-Demon n others) and around midnight rewatched The Sugarcubes's live video "Live Zabor".

This is a GREAT video! They rock live; it's like Missing Persons crossed with Captain Beefheart. I bought it for FIVE BUCKS at WALMART. Besides the live stuff there are weird "spoken word" parts with each Sugarcube, and they are....out...

reminds me of Contact's "It's so beautiful" which a group of student filmakers ripped off sooo bad on a film i worked on a few years ago. like someone's not going to notice that...geeks. geeks with lots of time and DV stock and loads of backing...damn, why didn't i get famous on that one?

thanks for the advice bro, i know i'm the one who has put myself out of the proverbial "friend pool" .
i do have friends whose company i thouroghly enjoy, it's just so rare that any of us ever get to spend any kind of quality time together. i guess the growing up thing we all go through really hits home once everyone has real jobs and some have families and everyone gets caught up in their own lives.

I used to think being sick was loads of fun when I was a little girl. It meant lots of chocolate milk and staying home from school and watching soap operas. Then I grew up and realized I couldn't miss classes. Poop.

PS: If you've had contact with Satan, aka Richard Gere, tell him I want Vermont.
