I am such a procrastinator. Until I can do it individually. Thank you to all of you who sent me birthday cards. It made me cry. To the member that bought me "Angel...

Did you receive the card I mailed?
As promised, I said I would write a blog as soon as I returned from my pre-birthday celebration weekend. I left for Charleston of Tuesday night. Then on Wednesday, I had an awesome dinner at a Mexican restaurant with my best friend Jessy. We got so drunk. I was drunk on both margaritas and on sugar. Alcohol and desserts are not good for diabetics. I...

Just thought I would drop in a say hello and say that I am having a blast at Tsubasacon 2011. I have made a couple new friends and I am so enjoying my birthday weekend. I still can not believe I will be 30 in 2 whole days. I have taken a lot of pictures over the past few days and when I return I...

my older sister has an odd sense of memory...if she owes you money, she conveniently forgets about it (she borrows my mom's Jeep for work sometimes....she will get the Jeep with a full tank of gas and return it with 1/2 a tank of gas, stuff like that), but if you owe her money, she hounds you like there's no tomorrow. and that's what irritates me the most!
gotta love family, huh?

So it is exactly one week until I turn 30 and I am exactly starting to get excited about it. I don't know why, but I think this is going to be the best birthday yet. Not only am I with people I love, but I now have a family that I love and one that loves me in return. This is something that I...

They won't but thank you.
This is a birthday themed blog. I will be 30 in 10 days.
It is sort of cool. I guess. I have always liked the fact that my birthday is on 10/10, so that is cool. This year for my birthday, I will be out of town at an anime convention with my boyfriend, Pezmaster, and his brother Travis. We are all going to...

I turned 30 exactly two months before you. I didn't do much to celebrate, though. Hope yours turns out to be a good one

Feeling a little madness as well? I'm a slow learner, should have found an outlet sooner. But I am learning.
Good news
Bad news
Hopefully good news > bad news, by a lot, and soon. (simplistic, but I'm fading quick.)

Good luck...hope you raise all you need and more for her!
So I thought I would take a break from my completely boring class to give you a small little update on my life. As my previous blog mentioned, I was going on a trip to see the Cerebral Palsy specialist a week ago. Well, I got good news and bad.
The x-rays came back normal, so that is the good part. There no deformities for...

It's too bad I missed the party. Does the family have a charitable donation page set up online somewhere?

Hope the CT scan goes well
So my visit to Charleston ended on a sad note. I got to see my friend who is now in a regular room instead of ICU. However, we found out the true nature of his condition. It is much worse than any of us expected. He has hyperthyroidism, which is treatable and not really something to be upset about. Going without treatment for it for...

Sorry to hear about your friend. Total suckfest.
So I am going to Charleston today with mixed emotions. I am mostly going to visit a very close friend who was put in the ICU last night. He is barely over 25 and recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. Not being diagnosed until yesterday nearly killed him. I haven't seen him since December. I hate that I am going to have to see him in the...

I don't know much about Avon/makeup sales, but in a general sense, sometimes retail sales will dip briefly between seasons, as people realign their thinking for what's next (mostly clothing and related sales obviously--saw it happen a lot working in places like Mervyn's).
If it helps to hear, I've seen testimonials about your services on other sites--your business email contact info specifically, not just Avon--and how you really hooked up a popular model here. Good for business, especially on another modeling site.
I am sorry to hear about your friend, and agree with another poster; it's good that it was caught now.
As for feeling like you haven't accomplished anything yet...I disagree, just from what you told us here. You've graduated college, published a book, and have started your franchise business (with staff); not to mention started a wonderful family.
But I do understand the feeling. I haven't accomplished any of those things; I try to remember that I have accomplished one huge thing in my life thus far: I've survived, despite the odds against it. (As have you, btw.) Unfortunately, as I continue to heal inside, I am less satisfied with that answer.
How you feel is relevant, but hope you'll allow me to point out those things that I know from experience one can forget about when feeling down. Oh, and 30? It's just a number. Everyone says it, but it's true. (Now 40, on the other hand...ouch, lol.)
(Sorry I haven't responded to your email yet; anything more said is an excuse. Having some serious trouble focusing, but I'm trying to catch up. I read your blogs as often as I can, just don't comment often. Take care, my friend.)
