Speaking about shakes Steak N Shake has got the best strawberry shakes. God I miss American food soooooo bad! I would kill for an outback right now. Or even a good sushi resturant somewhere near me.
As for favorite joy division song it would have to be their single because it brings back really good memories from the first time I could go to a club. They Might Be Giants: Birdhouse in Your Soul is really the song that reminds me of my first time in an "Alternative" club.

I guess I was lucky in that respect. My dad bought me books and took me to the library, and then he'd sit down and help me read them. The first words I ever read, though, were out of the local paper. I was sitting in his recliner with him, as usual, and I asked him to help me read. He turned to the front page and helped me sound out "The Alpena News". Since he worked for the paper, he was really proud and couldn't wait to tell his friends what my first read-aloud words were.

human nature for certain. i have a cd with about 12 versions of that song on it and it just never gets old. i love a lot of her really old stuff too...it's the kind of stuff that makes me smile and dance like a goof and sing at the top of my lungs.
