Off to see lovely lovely Satanica and a wonderful cast of hot and talented ladies, including my burlesque teacher, former Gun Street Girl, Bella Beretta.
I've got a very form fitting green Asian cheongsam on, and I'm raring to go. I'm also listening to a wonderful DJ set by Andy C, and I'm on top of world. Or some reasonable facsimile.
All hail the Executioner, Mr. Andy C, president of Drum and Bass!!!
If you trade mixes, I have a few of his sets on my HD...
Andy C and Stevie Hyper D @ Telepathy '97
Andy C @ Champion of Champions... thats 95 I think... I only have side B...
Andy C A promo he sent out in '99...(2 parts)
Andy C on Kiss100 July 22, 1998 (2 parts)
I swear I have another one with Hyper D from like 95, but its gone!!!
It's seeing bands like MUSE that really make me glad to be alive. They are one of the few bands that sound just as good (if not better) during their live performance as their studio stuff.
Last night, I ate red velvet cupcakes and looked at a lot of sexy lingerie. I wish all of my evenings could be spent this way.
Tonight is the Muse show. Yay. Saturday is a holiday burlesque extravaganza thingie with some new friends. The social schedule I've been keeping as of late has my head spinning, and I feel like I need an assistant to... Read More
"If you could have an assistant, what do you think their primary tasks would be? What do you have trouble with the most?"
I would have them bitch at me to get off the internet more often and go do the shit I need to do during the day earlier than I do.................. that and they would be washing dishes non-stop for when I cook..... The ideal canidate for the job would be Matt Foley, motivational speaker... "When you're living in a van down by the river!"
I'm so out of it, and I certainly hope that I'm not getting sick.
Speaking of sick, I am slated to finally have this gum surgery I've needed for awhile sometime in February. In caveman's terms, they are going to cut open the roof of my mouth, take a chunk, and then graft it on the gum on my bottom teeth. YAY! Supposedly it will... Read More
I live in the most boring town of the most boring state, so I:
ate food in an annoyingly noisy restaurant
shopped and got nothing
watched a movie, and left halfway through
Um, yeah. So I got my car back, and I need to make some serious decisions within several weeks. Bah. At this time last year, I was losing my last job. Par for the course.
So last night, I received some strange inspiration, which seems to be a little rare these days. My plan for world domination is that much closer to being realized.
take me under y'r wing... teach me your jedi goodwill tricks... learn me the ways oh great one!
btw.. that lipstick.. i need more!!! now that my face lack the blue/grey undertone, i need to start wearing more vibrant lip color... and i loved the stuff you let me borrow.. it even lasted through drinking 3 bottles of water, and one grilled cheese sandwich... friggin' wonderful!!!
Today on the way to taking my Cricket to the car hospital, I was singing 'She's Not There' by the Zombies almost full throttle.
I used to be able to sing. Both soprano and alto. It was something that was fun once in a while, but I never had the fervor for it like many singers that I knew.
Lest this entry sound so negative, pessimistic, morbid, whatnot...let me add that yesterday was interesting. I saw an old friend from MN who is in town. We had a teeny bit of a falling out, but whatever, that was more of an ego thing as opposed to any legitimate evil, so we caught up on things.
When someone finds my hope for humanity, will they please cut me a deal? I need it back.
Thanks for the comments.
*edited to add more details.
Perspective is like religion. Sure go ahead and believe whatever you believe, rewrite history however you like, but don't go shoving it down my throat. How I so desperately wanted to see people surprising me, but the SUV... Read More
My favorite scents are vanilla, tuberose, lavender, apple, pear, melon, and some random body mists and weird shampoos.
I'm doing some scent research.
*edited to add that I forgot to mention that I like the smell of gasoline, St. Joseph's children's aspirin, and the smell of real gardenias and orchids, but none of the man-made versions that smell like cheap douche. Haha.
I'm exhausted, too. and Achey :/
Time of year I guess
