Playing with new camera so forgive random pictures. Basically restricted to a backyard safari resulting in various bugs and stuff but at least i can practice on things that dont moan when i fuck it up, except that woodlouse and look what happened to him*.




* - no animals were harmed in this safari he died of natural causes prior to me discovering him

Spent yesterday morning building an exhibition for a London college's music and media end of term show. Some really cool ideas scattered amongst the ordinary not least a bizarre series of crucifix like sculptures.

England lose on penalties again, that'll teach them for trying to defend a one goal lead for 87 minutes but there you go.
Saw a great acoustic set by Fastball after that which managed to lift the mood beyond expectations.
Highlight had to be the Keith richards guitar lesson.

I agree but I still feel robbed after the goal was ruled a foul, why is completely beyond me. On the BBC they were staying that Terry used his arms on the keeper but if you watch it the keeper flings himself at Terry and falls over.

Ah, running around in the park on a rainy evening. great game of footy in the park only slightly dampened (ehhum) by the discovery that the bag of dry clothing wasnt quite as waterproof as initially believed. Why are the wet patches in embarassing places?

Sorry I missed you the other day, too skint for words. Yes, vanilla shakes, wonderful, except in Japan where they always turn out to be banana. Ba-ni-ra, Ba-na-na, it's a tricky one.

My first ever job was working in Burger King and my friend and I constantly used to pour ourselves vanilla milk shakes and then glug them before the manager appeared. Strangely, I lost weight!

I love vanilla shake but I don't recommend the SlimFast variety! smile

Saw the NY Dolls last night as part of Morrisey's Meltdown festival at the Royal Festival Hall, how awesome were they.

Awesome weekend albeit a pretty stressful Saturday, it was an open day at London Zoo for 3000 special needs children but they all seemed to enjoy themselves and got to experience up close contact with some of the animals and have a good day out.
