I think I may have reached the limit of filling up my schedule. I want to trim it back a little. Working 50+ hours a week on one job, teaching 6 yoga classes a week, going to 5+ meetings a week. I'm tired. I just want to go on vacation now.

You mean j. thuners and the heartbreakers don't you? (though I did like Petty's first two albums when he was on..um..shelter I don't know it's been awhile. yeah, I saw your favorites and I though yea, this guys old. Hell your just a punk. You didn't even make it into this world till the sixties I was born late fiftyeight like the old Ian Hunter (formerly of Mott the Hoople)song. You a friend of Bill W. I've been sober 181/2 of the last 20 years since my first go at rehab. Hell, I don't even try anymore. I just stay sober cause I like it better that way. Today anyhow. Two years ago this month I gave up on life (again) and stayed drunk for 9 months. I didn't figure I would ever get sober again. Didn't think I would ever really want to again really. But, change is the one thing we seem to be gaurenteed in life if we are patient enough to wait. Now death, that may be eternal. Cna't really remember though I've been told by doctor's that I was there for a while. I just don't remember. I don't remember being in St V's neuro ICU for a month either. I guess god just spares us from the eirie details sometimes. I'm here on SG for a while anyway if anyone ever needs to talk. peace!

I took three naps in the past two days. MMMM naps. Cut down on caffeine and woke up today with a caffeine withdrawal headache. Just drank a cup o' joe and it's fading fast. I wish I could take a nap every day. love

Went and saw garden state today. I liked it but it didn't live up to the hype that I had read around here. Maybe I'm gettin' old and jaded....what do I mean gettin'? skull

Hmm, I'm not sure I know what a TT special was, but if it was a bonneville model it may be similar to their T100. What with the T's and all... They're pretty dang nice & very true to the 60's & 70's bonnevilles. The one that's causing me to lose sleep is called thruxton (after some limited production racers in the late 60's I believe), it's just a hopped up bonneville done in the cafe racer style. If you are into losing sleep check triumph's web site out. triumphrat.net is also cool, forums pictures, articles, etc... sorry too lazy for links presently.
What's garden state, a movie I guess? I'm itchin to see the new manchurian candidate, also Stacy Peralta's "Riding Giants" but I'm sure I'll have to wait for video for that. Also been waiting like FOREVER for "MC5 A True Testamonial" to be available. They just keep taunting me with film festival reviews for it. Later.

I can't believe I watched that many hours of Law and Order. I probably watched more TV this weekend than I did during the 80's. Pretty pathetic.
beautiful_hatred:
Dude. I watched 12 hours of american choppers/world biker build off yesterday. My eyes still hurt. but goddamn when I have the money I could probably build my own bike.

The only thing I did today was take my dogs to the dogpark. I laid around so much my back hurt. Much needed rest.

Futons & Crutons...classic.
Yeah, I'm a little done with the Asian approach for the time being. Hoisting heavy weight over head and squating with it is doing more for my centeredness and flexibility right now than Aikido ever did-though I do have to remember that I was an active drunk at the time; guess I still have a few resentments around that one wink whatever
That intensive must have been really cool; actually, I always loved my Aikido retreats. The first two years of my training here at my acting conservatory consisted of 2 hours of ashtanga a day, 3 xs a week, usually starting at 8 am. Still, right now I'm making better progress doing gymnastics and Olympic style weight lifting training with ex-Navy SEAL's, go figure. How's that for a change in consciousness? biggrin (In all fairness, though, training for 13 years with the chief instructor of the US and for 2 years with the best ashtanga teacher in Westchester County probably gave me a significant foundation confused )

It's been a bad season for pets. One of my cats is N stage kylothorax. Over the next few days it will become more and more difficult for him to breath and we will have to decide when to euthanize him. It's hard watching him breath now, but he still purrs and seems happy. I hope if my physical existence gets to painful I can...

What time is the SG party at the Double Down? I haven't even heard about it...

Unless something comes up, I will be there. You should post something in the SGVegas group on it. Is anyone else planning on going?

I have a new addiction, luckily for me it is a healthy one and I hope to continue it, feed it. I was a dabbler before, occasional user, now I am full on physically addicted. I tried to lay off for a couple of days but my body is craving it. I always wanted to be addicted to something healthy. I guess if you do...
