Hey, after years of therapy I still feel some shame about my experience. I think it's unavoidable, though that's really unfair since we're the victims here. But I'm just saying, it's something a lot of survivors feel.
The Sub Base is staying open.

I definitely like most of the people I work with, and my manager is way awesome.
Good Eats is one of the awesomest shows! Also Rachel Ray is great, she's so cute and her recipes are realistic. Least favorite? Probably Emeril, and Kat Cora from Iron Chef but that's kind of a long story. My favorite recipe isn't necessarily interesting, but it is a never fail, easy, tasty recipe for pasta. If you click here, I gave Noir the recipe.

I think teaching people not to treat each other that way require us to go way, WAY back. We need to start teaching that idea as soon as possible, to children. The problem, what to do we do about the fact that a lot of people's bad attitudes about how to treat others comes from what they experience/see at home? We can teach classes at school but how do we counter what they learn at home? Or from the media?
