well now I have conclusive proof that it is my male house-mate rather than the female one who comes home drunk late at night and goes pee without flushing.

Not that the female one was ever a supect--She changes into her pajamas after work every day and doesn't leave the house.

but at least we finally know it's not me!

really? because after re-reading it, it seemed very boo-hoo, i feel bad for myself. it's all i seem to think about lately, how i spend my money. it just sucks. i really want to go see a movie this weekend, but it's totally out of the question. same with the sg burlesque thing. it's really sad when you can't even spend ten stinking dollars, you know?
ghettoblaster:

pretty much this entire day has been a waste due to this hangover (which still lingers puke ) I watched a couple of war movies on TV--Hall of Montezuma which was pretty good and is about Marines, and also The Longest Day which is freakin the longest movie. It's like three and half hours. It's mostly pretty good although any movie that long is bound to...

wow, so 2003 is over.

I can't think of a single imprtant thing that has happened to me in the last year that wasn't in some way related to or influenced by SG.

Last night I changed my strings for what may be the last time for a long long time.

I haven't been playing much in the last month but now I need to start practicing again. I wanna record as many unfinished songs as I can--just so I don't forget what they sound like. Most of my music has been written down. With these last recordings...

I just saw The Station Agent. Such a cool little movie. you all should check it out at Embarcadero Center. I'm sure it'll disapear soon. Miffy, sorry I didn't call you but today was one of those days where I just didn't want to talk to anybody. Which made the movie perfect to see today. It's about a dwarf who doesn't really want to talk...

sunday sunday, what shall I do with you? read more? see movies? clean my room? I just don't know...
sfdeep:
i can give you the full skinny about growing up on a Marine base, but i should also let you know before hand that i'm not a fan of the military.

if you want to know what boot camp is like, watch the first part ofFull Metal Jacket. seriously, they used a real drill instructor and every marine i've ever known said boot camp is just like that. my best friend growing up's Dad was a drill instructor and he was a lot like that movie (except he didn't threaten to pull out my eyes and skull-fuck me) smile i actually saw that movie when it first came out in a movie theater full of marines . . . strange . . .

anyway, there's good benefits and they take care of you, but then again, the way the world is working, you'll probably end up in a foreign country. also, you move around ALOT! they pay isn't really that great, and my dad was pretty happy to be out of it when he retired. but to each their own i suppose. i could go on for a few more paragraphs, so i'll just stop here. if you have any more questions, i'd be happy to answer them.

you could have made a new religion and proclaim yourself as the new messiah.

that'll be fun.

Random thought: One thing about Marines is that you don't hear of them ever worrying about their insecurities.

Frankly, that alone would be worth the bootcamp. I'm seriously tired of worrying so much.

In other news: way too many good movies out right now. I need a movie date or two for tommorrow. Miffy? TPD? Anyone?
miffy:
maybe. smile maybe not. bug me.

I just bought a book called "Keeping Faith". It's a joint autobiography written by a father and his son who joined the Marines. The family lives among wealthy east coast intellectuals where children go to private schools and off to exclusive colleges. Nobody around the guy can understand why he made this choice. The father supports his son but struggles to understand the choice.

Here...
