As of yesterday, I am not a Marine, but a civilian.

Apparently, a bunch of kids hate me cause I yelled at some bitch for calling soldiers murderers and their families enablers. That was that stupid drama last week. Except, I'm the only one who owned up and apologized for freaking out, and therefore, being the only one who admitted their mistake, was fucking bitched at by a whole ton of people for "causing problems".
Now the whole getting flipped out on in you know where. Cause it's totally classy to join an established group of people and tear one of them down.
It's a bad week for me. Kind of a family loss anniversary sort of thing that I'm still not okay with, so I'm gonna be all self-loathy and "It should have been me" over the circumstances of what happened.
It's just not the right time for everyone to be making me feel worse, ya know?

I am grateful today. People look at me funny when I tell them this, but Veterans Day is a favorite holiday of mine. We are a very fortunate country to have such amazing men and women serve in uniform. I am strong, but I am in awe of them. They are superheroes.
