I don't mean to complain, because a change is so welcome it hurts, even if it isn't a solution, but still...As a clever, if not wise Man said:
The Government "is no longer controlled by corrupt people with really bad ideas. It's now controlled by corrupt people with absolutely no ideas."
A bit cynical perhaps, but at least a little true. I am pretty ecstatic about what is to come, but I wish I had more confidence that we aren't resting a little too hard on "Hey, everyone, we're not Those guys, isn't that great?!!?" instead of that along with a few really solid plans, policies, and clear visions.
-In more personal news, you may not believe I am insane, but you also may not know me as well as you think.
I have a strange self-damaging neurotic/self-doubt/fear of failure thing going on which terrorizes me all the time because of what I think I might have been missing if I had done things differently/better. I blame it on Jewish guilt.

Many thanks to Noelani and Yonderboy for hosting the lovely brunch this Sunday. It was the first time I've been remotely social on a weekend in ages. I actually had a day off from school and both jobs for the first time in over a month (though I did spend the afternoon at a study group, geek that I am).
