what do i want to give god? well, i feel all i really can give god is my all. and, hopefully, my all includes touching any life i can, and making a change for the better. that could be a student of mine in 10 years, or the UU youth group i'm working with at a meditational nature hike. or convincing our legislatures that certain laws are wrong, and certains ways of going about war are not what god intended, either. hell, forget the legislature.
i feel, that as a human being, it is my job to do all in my power to take care of this planet and it's inhabitants. that includes donating what i can when i can to shelters and drives, including my time and manpower. recycling (which i don't do enough of anymore, now that i'm living in a territory of the queen of no-recycle-land - oakland, pgh). protesting when i feel our government has gotten outta control (again). telling those loony larks that if they really care for this country they would stop caring so much about their money and their power and their companies that benefit from them fucking over the american public as a whole and listen to us. see that their way of doing things don't work no mo'.
and most importantly, i want to spread the word that it don't fucking matter what race, creed, sexual orientation et al you are, we all equal (god just knew we'd get bored with one flavor being cooked the same way EVERY time) - so stop with the fucking -isms already! stop with the pointless murder of each other in the name of god - that goes for america too. i'm sick of it and god's sick of it. i don't know who more, but it's pretty close.
