Obviously, dude, you did not heed N.W.A.'s advice. 1988's "Dopeman" clearly directed: "Don't get high off your own supply."

Get yourself in check before the ghost of Easy-E puts a cap in yo' ass.

That's it? Man, you got it easy.

more fucked up dreams lately. just in their scale. epic. and vivid. last night included being at the oscars with courtney love. we were sitting together and getting along really good, then she had to go onstage for something, and bombed, and i started getting pissed at the people around me who were laughing at her.

now, prior to this dream, i had...

as i left work, somebody said "have a nice weekend" and i had this sudden feeling that i was gonna die this weekend.

if my life were a movie, the build up would be perfect.

then i had some super fucked up dreams.

i'm gonna hide under the desk now.
parks:
thanks for the birthday love smile

since you felt like you were going to die I don't think it's going to happen, at least not this weekend. It will happen eventually because you are a human, but you know not this weekend
aaardvark:
How touching. Isn't it though, just wonderfully shitty.

the following journal entry is brought to you by Roundy's Quality Cherry Flavor Night Time multi-symptom cold medicine...

I remember Tortise vs. Hare I. me and my buddies tailgated before the big contest. red kool aid and oatmeal cookies back by the reading table.

i was always a hare guy. my dad, my whole family were big hare supporters. from way back.

the race started...

Frankly, I never liked either of them. Sure, the tortoise is supposed to be the underdog, but he always struck me as an awfully sore winner. And wtf fuck was he thinking racing a hare, anyway? Sans the napping issues, he'da been schooled. Eh.

Apropos your comment yesterday: I know what you mean, about there being too much out there already. I guess I justify my own contributions in the "that shit sucks and/or is wrong" sense. Not to mention, culture is accelerating just fine regardless of what I do. There'd have to be a movement dedicated to cutting down on culture for there to be any point to that (and what a dull movement that'd be...I can just hear the rallying cry "...*..." or somesuch).

Oops, now I'm ranting. Later.
steel_talons:
Is that the one where theres like ten tortoises? Cause theyre just cheaters.

And you may want to cut back on the cough syrup.

It's a fine drink mix, but it's so tart I find I have to dilute it in order to drink it sans alcohol.

how old do you think i am?

No doubt you're right. I suppose it's the dilemma of our time. Sure, we have easy lives, but are they too easy? Are we lacking the satisfaction of honest work, of struggle and survival?

And I'm not really complaining about that--it's just that it's almost all I do. No output, at least not recently. No projects or hobbies, and a conspicuous lacking of real, valuable relationships.

Put another way, I need to get out more.
And that was hardly dumb. Basic, maybe.
judas:
old enough to know better.
