You know, I was reading this book and it was talking about how Ford didn't invent the automobile, the Wright Brothers, and how Lucky Lindy wasn't really the first to fly across the Atlantic, and I conflated it all (in my sleep deprived state) to one of the stupidest things I've ever said on the boards by far. I appreciate you for calling me out on it, and don't blame you if you stop listening to anything I say.

Hey, I've a random question to ask you: Is there any particular reason you abbreviate "your" and "you're" to "yr" in your posts?

I realize that sounds bitchy, but I'm honesty just curious, as you don't seem to type all LiKE DIZ OMG!!11 and so the "yr" thing caught my attention.

I can recall being in a similar place a while ago. I'm sure eventually you'll find some motivation somewhere. Maybe a change of location could do you good like it did for me.

This is something that often perplexes me, too. And it just may be that theatre isn't quite as passive as, say, television and film. I don't want to be completely cynical about it and say it's because people have infinitesimal attention spans or it's not (usually) laden with a host of special effects. That would be condescending. Anyway, it's their loss.

It also makes me a bit sad that it takes getting a teen idol naked to get people talking about the theatre at all.
