Tonight I met a boy who wants to be my slave. He calls me goddess. Kathy, I dont think you can understand these things. You are so simple and I so jaded- not really worldly, lets say.
You will be surprised to know that Jane Fondas husband, Roger Vadim, who was married to Brigitte Bardot, is in love with me. I was out with him...

In the early '70s I went on lots of trips, field trips sort of, just to poke around, to see what was happening outside of New York, back out there in America....
It seems like the middle of the night. I wake up suddenly and peer out from under my rock ledge. The fire has burned down to coals and it's dark in the woods....

FYI, if you eat slugs, you should "groom" them first-- that is, put them amongst something non-toxic for a couple days, because they can make you sick otherwise (if they eat something poisonous to humans). AND cut out their digestive tracts, otherwise all the maple syrup in the world won't make them passable.
They're not all that different from escargot. I figure if you're eating slugs, though, you probably don't have the means to get garlic butter.
They get really big, here.. Like 9 inches?
More meat than most birds.

i hate going to movie theaters. and it's not just because i can't smoke, like everyone's always accusing me of.
i just don't enjoy them. i don't watch a lot of movies at all, come to think of it.
i'll email you an address soon. i don't want to send you my current one if i'm just going to be moving in the next week or so- i don't know. uhg. buying a house is no fun.

I feel a lot better now (funny, isn't it- early in workweek = feeling lousy; very little workweek left and attend Morgan bday dinner at great restaurant = feel better??) so I should update. I don't have my quotes/book n things here that I wanted to write about though, so I might write that up later... uh... just tell me if you like to sniff...

yes, I MUST find something other than oogling boobies and reading message boards to help me waste my time. I swear, the internet is a fucking addiction.
I've been really pessimistic and cranky this week. It might've bubbled up in Comments to some folks. Sorry.
Someone left a copy of England's Dreaming in the used bin at work. I read a few bits at work. I need to add Jordan to my Crush List... no, not Michael! The punk "model" of the '70s. I'd always liked her from her part in Jubilee...

that ashtray hasn't been emptied for a couple months. I'm the only one in that apartment that smokes, but I'm only there like 2 nights a week.
You know, with no stereo (and frankly, me on here, watching stuff, or reading when I'm not at work) I really don't listen to much music... if you ask, "Can't you listen while you'r eon SG?" the answer is- no, I can't. I can't read and write and enjoy music at the same time.
Anyway, the reason I bring this up is because the car...

You hit the nail on the head. Except I am going out a lot in REAL LIFE. Shush, don't tell the internet folks.
I saw The Baxter last night. An enjoyable movie, and in my memory pretty clean- I can't really recall the drug or sex references that supposedly make it "PG-13." A lot of the State/ Stella/ Wet Hot American Summer folks make appearances, naturally. Critics say it isn't funny, but then they didn't understand WHAS, either. Also, not that it matters, but Michelle Williams looks...

Not much to say, but I'm sick of leaving Journals up for forever (although my last one is "important," I suppose).
I watched the Chris Rock sitcom, which I guess comes on Sept 22. I did this not through crafty illegal downloading but because they put a DVD of it in Entertainment Weekly, which I found at work. (Hey, if I hadn't taken it,...

I don't know. I'm very suspicious about this. Sitcoms can be either the best or worst thing to happen to a comedian. In Mr. Rock's case, though...I just don't know. I never found him to be too amusing.

I uhhh hadn't been up to much... but I am leaving my job soon, and probably moving to Portland, Oregon in a few months, give or take. I don't have much of any of it planned out yet but 1) if you know much about moving (Kritter, I mentioned this to you) or 2) getting situated in Portland (Portland Friends List people....?), let...

i hate that everything's so up in the air right now, i can't make any definite plans. i don't know when i'll be allowed to go back to New Orleans, when i'll have my own place to stay, how long it's going to take to pack up everything down there and move it here, provided that i still have stuff down in New Orleans worth saving...
i just want my life to get back into some kind of routine, you know? instead of all this waiting and this transient state.

They were fine, till Amber's kitty came b/c she wasn't fully box trained and now one of them thinks its ok b/c Roxy used to do it.
So I've separated them into rooms and with sep. litter boxes hoping to find the culprint. But do you think anyone is shitting on the floor now? So I'm never gonna know who's doing it.

They should have a college course now for maids and call it something glamorous. People don't want to work at something unless there's a glamorous name tagged to it. The idea of America is theoretically so great because we're gotten rid of "maids" and "janitors," but then somebody still has to do it. I always think that even very intelligent people could get a lot...

BTW: how have you been?
I screwed up last time. I meant to say Canadians and Scots spell it -whisky- and Americans and Irish spell it -whiskey.
I've never liked the non-e spelling and I hadn't really thought about why, but I think it's because "whisky" looks like an adjective saying something has the properties of a small egg-beating utensil. I try to align myself with things Scottish, but between...

The thing is I've lost over ten pounds since a stressful incident back in July, and I'm underweight, so I actually do need to gain weight. There's probably healthier ways to do that than to eat lots of carbs...
