Yikes, well I got my score back for my boards and did not study enough, so now I have to re-test for them in October. That just means that I have to go back to pulling 8 to 15 hour study / review days for the next 4 months in order to learn all the info I either didn't know at all or only kind knew the first time. It just sucks to have put so much effort in to not only not pass them but to have to do it all over again and hope that something changes. The major down side is that school policy dictates that all persons who do not pass boards on the first attempt must take and pay out of pocket for a course at the U of I that is a month long. That means I have to pawn my dogs off on to either a friend or family member for the month of September. Which means I will be living in a dorm room with some stranger, paying for all my food and laundry (hoping someone doesn't steal any of my clothes) and sleeping in a bed that feels like a rock and I won't have my dogs around to make anything better. It's situations like this that really make one question if they chose the correct path. I'm sure in the end it will all pay off ad this will just seem like a bad nightmare, but right now it just really sucks. Hey, how's that Donald Downer story for ya, HA! On the up side of life, I saw Harry Potter 5 hours before anyone else did and it totally kicked ass, so that's pretty cool.
