I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. My Mom died from breast cancer about 2 months after diagnosis. She decided on no treatment since it wouldn't have saved her anyway. It was a horrible thing to go through. I took care of her during the days. It made a huge impression on me and my outlook on life. it took me almost 3 years before I would stop breaking down into tears over anything that reminded me of her. Much love to you and I will lit a candle for your friend.
