You will find that it's not always the best idea to investigate a cat's business too closely. Some are faithful, and others... You might not see your cat for a while, or it may return home smelling of perfume, or not be hungry. Your cat may even come home wearing a collar with a name and address tag attached, and both name and address (three streets away) are not the name you use, or your address. It happens. True story. I love cats, but some are just whores. Fact. It can be painful and sobering to go digging, believe me. xxxxx

@dashwood_one I ended up never adopting this kitty, though I do see him around the neighborhood now. My own cat that I moved in shortly after moving to the house, is all indoor , and will never betray me haha! But I did have a cat as a kid that had a second family
