@btflday777 I think burnout is on it's way. And it is hard to have faith in PT when some days the pain is much worse than it was prior to either surgery but in the same place it has always been...like they fixed 1 problem but have completely missed something else

Please keep up the hope, please keep doing the PT, you know, things don't happen very fast. Sending you lots of healing vibes! And please look out for those burnout signs, take a break, pull the plug, look out for yourself.

Those original bandages wrought havoc on my skin. It looks like the new incisions are directly over the old ones.

Recovering

Checked in for surgery at 8:30am yesterday morning. Got all the prep done, wasn't brought back to the O.R. until 10:05am. Woke up in recovery at 11:40. Several doses of pain meds into the IV...and I managed to get home. Let me tell you....crutches, even for a short distance....in the snow really suck. This Continuous Passive Motion Machine really sucks...again.

Take good care dear lady. If you can't go back to work as soon as you planned, just let them know. You have the doctor's recommendation, your management should understand that. Wish you a quick and painless recovery!

I'm hiding in the bath again today. I don't really have much to say. The last 2 weeks have been kind of hellish between work and finals. I also had to scramble to schedule the newest surgery and work out my newest medical leave which will be unpaid as I am out of sick leave.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and birthday wishes on my last blog! The little trip to urgent care seems to be helping. As the doctor said...we brought out the big guns. Still an occasional some rich but nothing like I was dealing with.
