Welp, work was super busy today. I wrestled a big dog who trampled me in the process. The rest was just the typical monotony of the day. I only took a 20 minute break, which was just enough time to run to DD for more coffee. I'm on antibiotics and supposed to be drinking water, not coffee because it can dehydrate me...but....COFFEE!

When a 112# Cane Corso Mastiff steps all over you whilst you wrestle him by yourself, then when you go to the bathroom a few hours later you see bruises all over your thighs. I gotta look cute and sexy but that's difficult when your legs have purple bruises on them 😕😑

Duke's growth is a lipoma, benign fatty tumor. I will not do surgery. It's an elective, cosmetic procedure at this point.
His bloodwork was fairly quiet. Only abnormalities are a kidney value is still creeping up and his urine was dilute. Not surprising to me as I already knew they would because of his kidney disease.
I'm relieved...

I found a tumor on Duke [my dog]. It's bigger than a golf ball in size. I never noticed it because it is close to his inner thigh and all his floof masks it. I discovered it while brushing him. He's not a belly rub kind of dog, otherwise I may have noticed it sooner.

Been there, done that, sweetie. There's rarely anything that can be said to chase the blahs away... except to remind that you're not alone, you know it will pass... and it helps to take stock of all you have to be thankful for (yeah, the ol count your blessings thing).
