Day after day of sub-freezing has got me island dreaming.

Yeah I'm a wimp too when it comes to the cold and snow even though I'm originally from Buffalo. Living in California and New Mexico has thinned out my blood I think.

And now that I own a motorcycle I have ZERO interest in snow!!

Gladly and I'll follow it with a Gordon McPhail Macallan cask bottling vintage 1978....indescribably yummy.

I'd also highly recommend Highland Park (Mac's sister distiller)- the 18 and 25 year olds are sensational. Sherry casked like the Mac, but somewhat subtler in my mind.

The tasting I went to the other night was put on by the Single Malt Whisky Society
