Performance Update

Alrighty...so I will be performing with the Munirah Dancers at UNC Asheville in Alumni Hall in the Highsmith center at 8pm on the 15th fot the Purim Festival.
I will either be doing double veil or double sword...havn't quite decided yet. Last year this was a lot of fun...really good energy, these people know how to have a good time!

I got my navel pierced today. It was a lot of fun. I was scared but it really just tickled. Of course she had a little trouble getting the jewelry in and that kinda hurt, and then it kinda bled and it is kinda hearting now, but not too bad.

I tried to make a graveyard cake....but the second layer crumbled all over the bottom layer. Oh well. Now it is sitting in the refrigerator drying out. It's not like we really have anything else in there.
I'm really excited about this movie.

Evening Storm

Above me inky veins plunge
into pinkish grey flesh

The gig went rather well, considering my braindeadness (I forgot my drum....) We had a good crowd for the first two sets, then at 11.30 everybody was gone. The mgmnt. has figured out that in the South nobody stays out much past 11.00. biggrin So I'm looking forward to the next time we're there on the 24th, and we'll go from 8.00-11.30.

Good luck digging out of the snow. We're supposed to get cold rain.

I will be performing at Joli Rouge Sat. the 11th with the Bellydancing Betty Boop Fire Troupe (also known as World Spirit) for the Broken Hearts Ball.
We will be doing a fire piece probably sometime around midnight freezing our asses off in the courtyard.
