6am is so stark. Early morning feels like white light. The silence is a weightless pool, a thick suspension of my thoughts. Fragments of me working themselves out, celebrating the utter lack of distraction. Endless drifting in this lonely galaxy of posiibility and probability were it not for this furry little black kitten who is taking every possible opportunity to love me.

"Argh! It's only 6am and I can't go back to sleep. I lie in bed for a while changing from one side to the other, putting the sheets between my legs, fluffing my pillow, changing the setting on my relaxing sounds machine. And yet, no matter what I do I have already seen the sun shining through the window and heard the birds chirping their hellos outside. My mind knows it is the waking time and will not back down. So, I sit up, roll a kink out of my neck and give a final yawn before rising to greet the world. Still half out of it I get dressed and head out the door. I arrive at Starbucks and give Robin, my faithful partner in crime, that look that has "give me the usual" written all over it. By the time I get to the counter she has my tall coffee and croissant ready and waiting. We exchange pleasantries and I thank her once again for saving my life and let her know I will see her the next morning. It's only about 6:20 now, I won't need to be at work for almost another 3 hours. I decide to leave my car parked where it is and walk to the nearby park to feed the birds some of my breakfast and read a little of the paper while the sun warms me through and tickles the back of my ears.

That's cool you guys have a garden. We have some vegetables in planters on our 2nd floor deck, but they're not doing so hot. I do have a killer iris that I up rooted from a vacant lot next door and planted in a home made planter in our backyard that is rocking!!

Have you tried Pedialyte for hangovers?
It works like a fucking charm. I used to do the Gatorade thing but Pedialyte balances out my electrolytes IMMEDIATELY after drinking it--literally AS I drink it my hangover disappears! Rite Aid brand is better than the real brand by the way.

Looks like we have the same issues with the new site! While the random friends pictures are nice, it is better to see all of your friends without having to go into the edit friends screen to see them. I also liked the old way of viewing new sets so you could see the previous 3-4 sets that came before the newest one. I don't like flipping to them so much. I'm glad your kitties are acclimated!
